The vibration mode on my phone was enough to make the whole class stared at me. Picked it up sheepishly and walked out from the class, unknowingly who made an anonymous call during my presentation.ibu-san : "LaLa, just received the news."
LaLa : "omg..what mom?"
ibu-san : "she passed away already. Peacefully around 4pm+."
LaLa : (stunned) "oh.okay...so then...now..."
ibu-san : "Can you come home dear? We're going to perform the ritual soon."
LaLa : "I'll be on my way...(sniffing)" .
So on that fateful day, dear great grandma had returned to where she belong.
Tears and sorrow brought us families together once more and forlornnes could be sensed in the air.
She was at her mid-sixties when cancer took her life away.
I'm sorry for not being there at your deathbed but I'm grateful to have seen you for the last time when you are still conscious at my presence last sunday.
Although your body may have left us in this world, your soul and spirit will always be in the presence of us. We love you dearly and I know no matter how hard it is to let go, I'm sure that now, we have a guardian angel watching above us.
