Chapter 3: Gemini
A New Step`
Tuesday, June 30, 2009 | 11:58 PM | 0comments

Since trainings were cancelled as IG activities were put on hold due to the bug that has been going around in school, Danza Con Pasion has been desperately searching for a new practice room.
"Life sure is mundane without the beats and the groove."

After moments of desperate search & even chased away
(you don't wanna know..) by some unknown figure, as luck would have it, finally they have found the perfect place to practice.
Well, ALMOST perfect anyway.
And that by means, a good flooring, which is essential for good spinning.

You can bet with me that our Mr Gary here for he will be grinning from ear to ear as soon as he realises just the same.
Actually, he already did.
=)

So congratulations then!
We have our very own 'dance studio'!
And this time, we don't even need to book it.

I wonder if he still remembers me.

Be one with Yourself.

All you need is to listen,
So listen close & breathe in deeply.

All you need is security,
So surrender your soul to me.

All you need is the rhythm,
So ignore his trusting lead.

Cause when you dance,
Never restrict so you'll be free.
Be entwined as one
with your mind and body.

And love it for eternity.

Bachata me away baby.
Because I miss your touch.

Awesome shit.
It's not about Megan, people.
It's the storyline we're talking about here.

I'll give 5 Mega Popcorns for this.

And obviously, I just got back from the cinema.

Thank you dear.

Yes, we won.
No, not the 1st but the 3rd position.
At least it's better than last year.
*smiles*

That evening, the “Showdance” category stole the audience's hearts away with RP's Latin Performance Team's fusion of Latin Rhumba, Cha Cha and Jive, with a touch of sassy demeanor; and the Salsa Team, of exhilarating dance stunts of flips and lifts that left the audience gasping for more in array of loud applause.

Although faced with strong competition from very established competitors of the same category, RP's 'Regale Passionates' and 'Danza Con Pasion' managed to steal the limelight and were announced as the Champions!
Months of training certainly paid off at that crowning moment!
& definitely the 14hours of waiting as well.

And..
The 3 Couples that made it happen.

Kinda reminds me of the seniors.
*laughs*

Because I want to know it badly,
eventhough it might hurt me eventually.

The Time of Our Lives.

Social Dance inaugural camp that falls on the 3rd-6th June was indeed a successful one.
All thanks to Victoria and Vetri for planning it all.

The preparation was a burden, a hassle.
The shopping was exshauting and a migraine.
The budget was absolutely tight and ridiculous.
Nevertheless, all of it was paid off.

Combining the 3D2N camp with a Tea Party in the middle,
was a fantastic idea afteral.
Though vetri and me didn't get to settle for something that we've planned
for the party,
the necessities were there, lightings were awesome and my Geela Bitch rocked the night.
and oh, Anaconda as well.

And Congratulations to my darling Team!
Winners of the night!
Awesoomee!

And to my Best Camper,
You're Awesome Dude!!

But the show doesn't just end here.
For the spotlight is waiting for us the very next day at East Tampiness Park
for an Eco-Festival Performance.

Because you'll do it only once in your lifetime.
So why not?

I was expecting you actually.
Sadly you weren't there.

Moondance
- Van Morrison

Well, its a marvelous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
neath the cover of october skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
And Im trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low
And all the nights magic seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush

Chorus:
Can I just have one a more moondance with you, my love
Can I just make some more romance with a-you, my love

Well, I wanna make love to you tonight
I cant wait til the morning has come
And I know that the time is just right
And straight into my arms you will run
And when you come my heart will be waiting
To make sure that youre never alone
There and then all my dreams will come true, dear
There and then I will make you my own
And every time I touch you, you just tremble inside
And I know how much you want me that you cant hide

Chorus

Repeat 1st verse

One more moondance with you in the moonlight
On a magic night
La, la, la, la in the moonlight
On a magic night
Cant I just have one more dance with you my love

Coul you sing those words to me again baby?

Paranoia Freak`
Monday, June 15, 2009 | 11:50 PM | 0comments

Gary has been such a darling lately, keeping me tabs about partner works
and never fail to assure me about my obsession of those extra
adipose tissues which everyone fails to see.
Still, that doesn't change anything about me being a paranoid freak everytime.
Oh bummer.

And did I mentioned, he had a new look?
*pictures to be updated very soon*

And here is a little something I should be looking forward to tomorrow.
*gigles*

One Phone Call

&
a Guy that had a little too much tipsy ditzy

is all that you need to get your doubts answered and even perhaps perspective change.
Trust me. It works.
...well probably not most of the time but usually.
That's good enough.

Vulnerability.
Dangerously Important.

The mundane atmosphere in this hectic lifestyle is really getting into me
and what's depressing really is that there isn't any
interesting worthy movies screening.
So I would gladly & proudly thanked a good friend of mine for transfering some
movies that I've yet to catch & since he is a chick flick avid,
what more can I say?
At least he tried to ease my pathetic boredom.

Popcorns & Ice Cream Tubs,
Here I Come!!

Let's hope I won't turn into one.
*shrugs*

I'm not here to take you away,
I'm not here for the hurricane.
I just want it to stay this way.
'cause your love for me is enough baby.
by the way you love and care for me, I just want you to know that
I'm the luckiest girl ever.

[Stupid door, made me a paranoia.]

Take me somewhere someday baby.
& I'll keep "Your body is a Wonderland" song on replay.

Back to Basics`
Saturday, June 13, 2009 | 11:55 PM | 0comments

At long last, I'm back with some action.
Indeed I must say, I do miss that counter of mine and especially Jimmy, Diana & all
my workmates.
It back to basics baby.

As I turned my pages of life slowly, reminiscing every single sweet, bitter & special moments, I can't help but ponder on how important the society and world revolves around me as they became a necessity to my portal of development.

It is when I began to worry of my true identity.
They once said that is it when at the teens stage that youths are at an identity crisis,
a time of confusion leap over them, blinding their sense of direction.

Am I going through the phase now?
How much longer should I figure the answer?
Will I be blinded forever?
Am I ever going to survive this?

So many questions, so little time.
To who shall I turn to?

It's a girls night out tomorrow night.
Wait for me babes!

I was cleaning my bookmarks on my Mozilla when I came across an old link I saved the other day.
Somehow, I prefer him this way better off then being Mr. Bean.

A short meet up with a friend was probably all I need from the insanity I've been driven at.
Perhaps, something to even look forward to.
And it's even better when it's someone I've not known too much yet.
A new book to read.
How intriguing.

Do you doubt me?
Thursday, June 11, 2009 | 11:53 PM | 0comments

There was a young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time and when he finally returned, he asked his parents to find him a pious scholar or any expert of that matter who could answer his 3 simple questions.
Finally, his parents were able to find him a Muslim Scholar.

Young Man : Alot of experts and professors weren't able to answer my questions. Are you sure you'll be able to do it?

Scholar : I will try my best with the help of God.

Young Man : I've got 3 simple questions.
  1. Does God exist? If so, show me his shape.

  2. What is Fate?

  3. If the devil was created from fire, why is it at the end he will be thrown to hell which is also a creation from fire? It will certainly not hurt him at all since both were made from fire.

    Did God think this far?

Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man's face very hard.

Young Man (felt pain) : Why do you get angry at me?

Scholar : I am not angry. The slap is my answer to all your questions.

    Young Man : I really don't understand..

Scholar : How do you feel after I slapped you?

    Young Man : In Pain.

Scholar : So do you believe that pain exist?

Young Man : Well of course!

Scholar : Then show me the shape of pain!

    Young Man : I can't..

Scholar : And that is my first answer. All of us feel God's existence without being able to see his shape. Last night, did you dream that you'll be slapped by me?

    Young Man : No.

Scholar : And did you ever think you'll get a slap from me today?

    Young Man : No.

Scholar : That is Fate, my second answer..
Hmm.. My hand that I used to slap you with, what is it created from?

    Young Man : Flesh.

Scholar : How about your face, what is it created from?

Young Man : Flesh as well.

Scholar : How do you feel after I slapped you then?

Young Man : Still in pain.

Scholar : That's it. This is my third answer. Even though both the devil & hell were created from fire, if God wants, the hell will become a very painful place for him as well.
    God does exist.

And there were some that asked me why do I still believe in god when he is cruel to let others suffer and die.
Yet another explanation perhaps would enlighten your doubtness.

Barber : I don't believe that God exists.

Customer
: Oh? Why do you say that?

Barber : Well, you just have to go out in the street and realise that he doesn't exist. Tell me, if he does really exist, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children? If he truly existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving god who would allow all these things.

The customer thought for a moment but didn't respond because he didn't want to start any unnecessary arguments.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with a long, stringy, dirty hair and untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.

The customer turned back and entered the barbershop abruptly and said,

Customer
: You know what? Barbers do not exists.

Barber : How could say that? I am here, I am a barber and I just worked on you!

Customer
: No. Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beard just like the man outside.

Barber : Ahh, but barbers do EXISTS! That's what happen when people do not come to me.

Customer
: Exactly! That's the point!
God too exists! That's what happen when people do not go and look to him for help. That is why there is so much pain and suffering in the world.

A little different shade of the other side of me on this humble web page
wouldn't hurt now, would it?
It's ironic to say that I am neutral but as a Muslim myself, I do respect others prospectives on such a touchy issue.
Though I must say, I am proud that I am still able to live cohesively with other races & religion not to say peacefully but quite harmoniously.

Now, isn't that what Singapore Government has taught us?

bullshit.

Stay Home Wednesday

  1. Woke up: 12pm

  2. A Dream: Weird and a little claustrophobic

  3. Plans for the day: R.E.S.T

So I finally got a day rest and though it wasn't how I wish it would go, having a day off is better than nothing.
Darling is at home today so he suggested to catch a few movies!
(indoors of course..)

Ransacked the whole cupboard full of dvds to only find that the one he watched
was all from Rudy's.
A little treasure hunting wouldn't hurt now aye?
*giggles*

List Of Movies:

  1. Thank You For Smoking

  2. Disturbia

  3. The day the earth stood still

  4. August Rush

  5. Saw IV

4 down, 1 more to go.
And I wonder why Singaporeans has a high percentage in Myopia.

The clock is ticking.
I'm losing every precious second.
Why does it feel like time is running faster now?

Final Tuesday
Tuesday, June 9, 2009 | 10:28 PM | 0comments
It's my last week of holiday and though whinning won't work, I know having 2 weeks of holidays is much of a holiday, really. Simply they're just giving us ample time to settle our unfinished business and perhaps having fun at the same time.
I know that sounded so pessimistic.
Oh well. One can't run away from reality.

School and work has been keeping me busy and with the Social Dance Camp that just ended last week, the fatigueness is still here to stay.
And what's more, freaking gastric just won't leave me alone.
Oh I just hate the numerous trips to the doctors.
*grumble*

Training was simple today with Fi refreshing us with a new routine for our upcoming performance on November. We'll be doing quite a few numbers perhaps with tango and street cha cha in it as well. The anticipation is already driving me nuts!

Dancing the night away at the usual hot spot was the initial idea but as the plan was interrupted
I just had to ditch it and decided to have plenty rest at home. Besides, everyone else had gone all ballistic on me for not taking proper rest so hear me out, I am doing so!
Sorry can't join in the fun with you guys.

When I hear you calling,
When I know you're waiting,
It make my heart beats faster
Just thinking how sweet you are to me.

besos del amor`

Too many words over clouding my mind.
a feeling of need to be expressed.
yet nothing erupted when is suppose to.
funny how sometimes you soothe me without even knowing.

And dearest, thank you so much for the lunch today!
Honestly, you are my savior.
Without you and your baby, I don't know how my day would turn out today.
We should do this more often!
Thank you so much!
*hugs*

I think I could begin to love Tuesdays.
I had a great one today despite the rough start in the afternoon,
with some totally superfluos matter that is so not worth my breath talking about it,
but definitely a fantastic way to end the night!
I can't deny but you turning to be my ecstacy.
And love, thank you for making my day.
muacks!
