Why is it you had to leave?
Leaving me hanging,
languished?
Where is my light?
My sunshine, the stars
that hang above
my head every night?
Why'd you had to go?
When everything starts to show?
You packed your bags
and head for the door,
leaving me with questions
once more.
Rejections and lament,
penetrate my heart.
Those fragile shards,
were meant to be broken
right from the start.
Solitude engulfed,
taking control.
surpressed the emotions,
within my soul.
So take me in now,
slow and steady,
with your faint voice
crying,
I'll rest in peace...
